بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 28–29

ضَرَبَ لَكُمْ مَثَلًا مِنْ اَنْفُسِكُمْۜ هَلْ لَكُمْ مِنْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُكُمْ مِنْ شُرَكَٓاءَ ف۪ي مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ فَاَنْتُمْ ف۪يهِ سَوَٓاءٌ تَخَافُونَهُمْ كَخ۪يفَتِكُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْۜ كَذٰلِكَ نُفَصِّلُ الْاٰيَاتِ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ ٢٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
28Ḍarabe leküm meŝelem min enfüsiküm. hel leküm mim mâ meleket eymânüküm min şürakâe fî mâ razaḳnâküm feentüm fîhi sevâün teḫâfûnehüm keḫîfetiküm enfüseküm. keẕâlike nüfeṣṣilü-lʾâyâti liḳavmiy yaʿḳilûn.
English Translation
28Allah gives you an example from your own lives. Would you consent to those under your command becoming partners in the wealth We have given you, sharing that wealth with them equally and standing on an equal footing with you? Would you feel for them the same concern you feel for yourselves? This is how We explain the verses for a people who use their reason.
