بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

اِذْ تَمْش۪ٓي اُخْتُكَ فَتَقُولُ هَلْ اَدُلُّكُمْ عَلٰى مَنْ يَكْفُلُهُۜ فَرَجَعْنَاكَ اِلٰٓى اُمِّكَ كَيْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَۜ وَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا فَنَجَّيْنَاكَ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَفَتَنَّاكَ فُتُونًا۠ فَلَبِثْتَ سِن۪ينَ ف۪ٓي اَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ ثُمَّ جِئْتَ عَلٰى قَدَرٍ يَا مُوسٰى ٤٠
Mushaf
Transliteration
40İẕ temşî uḫtüke feteḳûlü hel edüllüküm ʿalâ mey yekfülüh. feracaʿnâke ilâ ümmike key teḳarra ʿaynühâ velâ taḥzen. veḳatelte nefsen fenecceynâke mine-lgammi vefetennâke fütûnâ. felebiŝte sinîne fî ehli medyene ŝümme ciʾte ʿalâ ḳaderiy yâ mûsâ.
English Translation
40Recall when your sister went along, following you, and said: —Shall I show you someone who will take on the care of him? So We reunited you with your mother, so that she might be comforted and not grieve. Then, when you grew up, you killed a man. We delivered you from that trouble too, and raised you by putting you through many tests. Then you lived for years among the people of Midian. At last, in accordance with My decree, here you are, O Moses!
