وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَاِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ اَبْصَارُ الَّذ۪ينَ كَفَرُواۜ يَا وَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا ف۪ي غَفْلَةٍ مِنْ هٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظَالِم۪ينَ ٩٧
Mushaf
Transliteration
97Vaḳterabe-lvaʿdü-lḥaḳḳu feiẕâ hiye şâḫiṣatün ebṣâru-lleẕîne keferû. yâ veylenâ ḳad künnâ fî gafletim min hâẕâ bel künnâ żâlimîn.
English Translation
97The promise that is to be fulfilled has drawn near. Then the eyes of those who do not believe will stare wide open in fear and terror, and they will say: —Woe to us! Before this we paid no heed to it at all; in truth we wronged ourselves and brought ruin upon ourselves.
