بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 38–39

وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ اَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةًۜ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ اَنْ يَاْتِيَ بِاٰيَةٍ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِ اللّٰهِۜ لِكُلِّ اَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ ٣٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
38Veleḳad erselnâ rusülem min ḳablike veceʿalnâ lehüm ezvâcev veẕürriyyeh. vemâ kâne lirasûlin ey yeʾtiye biâyetin illâ biiẕni-llâh. likülli ecelin kitâb.
English Translation
38Indeed, We sent messengers before you too, and gave them wives and children.(1) Besides, no messenger can bring a sign except by Allah's leave/the divine law.(2) For every age has its own form of message.(3)
