بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 8–11
4 versesAr-Ra'd 11
لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِه۪ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ اَمْرِ اللّٰهِۜ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتّٰى يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِاَنْفُسِهِمْۜ وَاِذَٓا اَرَادَ اللّٰهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُٓوءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِه۪ مِنْ وَالٍ ١١
Mushaf
Transliteration
11Lehû müʿaḳḳibâtüm mim beyni yedeyhi vemin ḫalfihî yaḥfeżûnehû min emri-llâh. inne-llâhe lâ yügayyiru mâ biḳavmin ḥattâ yügayyirû mâ bienfüsihim. veiẕâ erâde-llâhü biḳavmin sûen felâ meradde leh. vemâ lehüm min dûnihî miv vâl.
English Translation
11For every human being there are those before and behind him who follow him and, by Allah's command, protect him and record what he does.(1) Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change their own condition!(2) But when Allah wills (according to the wrongs they have done) that a people be punished, there is no one who can turn it back, and they have no refuge besides Allah.(3)
