لَا يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ جَم۪يعًا اِلَّا ف۪ي قُرًى مُحَصَّنَةٍ اَوْ مِنْ وَرَٓاءِ جُدُرٍۜ بَاْسُهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْ شَد۪يدٌۜ تَحْسَبُهُمْ جَم۪يعًا وَقُلُوبُهُمْ شَتّٰىۜ ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَا يَعْقِلُونَۚ ١٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
14Lâ yüḳâtilûneküm cemîʿan illâ fî ḳuram müḥaṣṣanetin ev miv verâi cüdür. beʾsühüm beynehüm şedîd. taḥsebühüm cemîʿav veḳulûbühüm şettâ. ẕâlike biennehüm ḳavmül lâ yaʿḳilûn.
English Translation
14They dare not come together and face you in pitched battle; they can fight only from within strong fortresses or from behind walls. Among themselves there are fierce disagreements. You think them united, but they are a hollow crowd whose hearts beat for separate aims. That is because they are a people who do not use their reason.
