بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 4–5
2 versesAt-Talaq 4
وَالّٰٓـ۪ٔي يَئِسْنَ مِنَ الْمَح۪يضِ مِنْ نِسَٓائِكُمْ اِنِ ارْتَبْتُمْ فَعِدَّتُهُنَّ ثَلٰثَةُ اَشْهُرٍۙ وَالّٰٓـ۪ٔي لَمْ يَحِضْنَۜ وَاُو۬لَاتُ الْاَحْمَالِ اَجَلُهُنَّ اَنْ يَضَعْنَ حَمْلَهُنَّۜ وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللّٰهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ اَمْرِه۪ يُسْرًا ٤
Mushaf
Transliteration
4Vellâî yeisne mine-lmeḥîḍi min nisâiküm ini-rtebtüm feʿiddetühünne ŝelâŝetü eşhüriv vellâî lem yeḥiḍn. veülâtü-lʾaḥmâli ecelühünne ey yeḍaʿne ḥamlehünn. vemey yetteḳi-llâhe yecʿal lehû min emrihî yüsrâ.
English Translation
4If you are in doubt about the waiting period of your wives who have stopped menstruating, their waiting period is three full months, and the waiting period of those who have not menstruated is the same. As for pregnant women, their waiting period ends when they give birth. Whoever guards himself against defying Allah, Allah will surely grant him ease in his affairs.
