بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ

3 versesAl-Ahqaf 28
فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ الَّذ۪ينَ اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللّٰهِ قُرْبَانًا اٰلِهَةًۜ بَلْ ضَلُّوا عَنْهُمْۚ وَذٰلِكَ اِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ ٢٨
Mushaf
Transliteration
28Felevlâ neṣarahümü-lleẕîne-tteḫaẕû min dûni-llâhi ḳurbânen âliheh. bel ḍallû ʿanhüm. veẕâlike ifkühüm vemâ kânû yefterûn.
English Translation
28Why, then, did the gods they placed between themselves and Allah, so that these might bring them closer to Allah, not come to their aid when the punishment came? On the contrary, they forsook them. That belief was nothing but a slander they had invented and contrived.
