بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulAl-Kafirun 1–3
3 versesقُلْ يَٓا اَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَۙ ١ لَٓا اَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَۙ ٢ وَلَٓا اَنْتُمْ عَابِدُونَ مَٓا اَعْبُدُۚ ٣
Mushaf
Transliteration
1Ḳul yâ eyyühe-lkâfirûn.
2Lâ aʿbüdü mâ taʿbüdûn.
3Velâ entüm ʿâbidûne mâ aʿbüd.
Verses 1–3
Say: O disbelievers!
I do not accept any other god alongside Allah, who created both you and me and endowed us with so many blessings, and I do not worship anyone but Him. And it seems that you, for your part, will not obey and worship the One I obey and worship.

4Velâ ene ʿâbidüm mâ ʿabettüm.
5Velâ entüm ʿâbidûne mâ aʿbüd.
Verses 4–5
O my people! After my Lord has shown me the right path, I will never follow those whom you obey and worship. Allah calls you out of darkness into light, to live the life that is the reason for your creation; yet you stubbornly turn away and flee from it, and you do not want to follow the One I obey and worship.

So to you your religion (your system of life), which you stubbornly defend and will not give up, and to me my religion (my system of life).
