بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulVerses 9–11
3 versesAl-Jumu'ah 9
يَٓا اَيُّهَا الَّذ۪ينَ اٰمَنُٓوا اِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلٰوةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا اِلٰى ذِكْرِ اللّٰهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَۜ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ٩
Mushaf
Transliteration
9Yâ eyyühe-lleẕîne âmenû iẕâ nûdiye liṣṣalâti miy yevmi-lcümüʿati fesʿav ilâ ẕikri-llâhi veẕerü-lbeyʿ. ẕâliküm ḫayrul leküm in küntüm taʿlemûn.
English Translation
9O you who believe, when you are called to the prayer on Friday, leave off your buying and selling and answer Allah's call, to His remembrance/the prayer! That is better for you than buying and selling, if only you knew.
