بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّح۪يمِ
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most MercifulAl-Fil 1–5
5 versesاَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِاَصْحَابِ الْف۪يلِۜ ١ اَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ ف۪ي تَضْل۪يلٍۙ ٢ وَاَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا اَبَاب۪يلَۙ ٣ تَرْم۪يهِمْ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجّ۪يلٍۖۙ ٤ فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَاْكُولٍ ٥
Mushaf
Transliteration
1Elem tera keyfe feʿale rabbüke biaṣḥâbi-lfîl.
2Elem yecʿal keydehüm fî taḍlîl.
3Veersele ʿaleyhim ṭayran ebâbîl.
4Termîhim biḥicâratim min siccîl.
5Feceʿalehüm keʿaṣfim meʾkûl.
Verses 1–5
Just think what your Lord did, with the stones hurled by the birds He sent in flocks, to the army that came, relying on its strength and its ranks of elephants, to burn and destroy and do as it pleased.
Allah thwarted the plans of these treacherous wrongdoers, who relied on their strength and did not take Allah into account; He destroyed them with the hurled stones and made them like a field of trampled crops.
It is Allah alone who has the power to do whatever He wills.
